North Carolina

Jason and I recently had the chance to go and visit Sheila and Mike in North Carolina. It was a very nice visit; most of the family was there.

While we were there I had the blessing to be with Sheila and Mike at the temple as they were sealed for time and all eternity. Congrats!

After a trip back toSheila's house from the temple. Jason had the right idea to cool off.

Mike was able to take us to the base and show us the helicopters that he works on. Jason had a blast checking everything out and following Grandpa Dave and Uncle Mike around.

Mom gota kick-out-of putting Sheila and I in matching shirts just like she did when we were little.

River Trip

Jason really loves the water and is getting good with his floaties, we also had fun testing out our new digital camera in the water. It is a great camera, waterproof to 10 ft, freeze proof, drop/shock resistant at 5 ft on to concrete and just all around cool in blue. Basically a good investment with having Jason around.

Dad and his crazy hair, honestly, we are just glad he still has all of his.

Here is most of the happy family (didn't think Oreo would have liked the water).

Here's a fun one of Jason shot from under the water looking up as he tries to grab the camera.

Say Cheese!

Our friends who showed us the fun place to swim in the river. Their just great.

Here is my product endorsement:I would recommend it to anyone, its the 8 MP Olympus Stylus 850 SW. A good point and shoot digital camera when you are tired of lugging around the digital SLR all the time.

4th of July

Jason just posing as himself in his new shirt.

Yes, we know its blurry, thats part of why we like it. James is passing out sparklers to our friends kids, while Jason looks on, standing in the grass far away from the scary hot things.

Mom and Jason hang out watching the firework show. Jason was a bit tired by the time it was dark enough to play and see the show.

Mom plays with the new cameras fire work setting while dad shows Jason how to use a sparkler.

Jason finally gave in and with dads help, twirled the sparkler like a pro (he is the blur in the center).

Jason's First Magic Show

Jason got his first real magic show at the library summer reading program as they promoted reading. He was amazed and sat very still trying to figure the tricks out. He liked best when the magician would blow in his hand and make things disappear. Daddy went too and was taking pictures for the local newspaper he is working for during the summer.
