Jason spends time working on his own art ideas, this particular sketch has a Christmas tree he drew and is now coloring in.
The boys play together being silly and this time we were lucky - nobody ended up crying.

Jason Taxi
Jason has figured out how to remove the seat on his scooter bike then attach the wagon. Danny loves to ride around the yard.

First Fishing Trip
Jason has been asking to go fishing for weeks now, so finally we made it happen with some friends from church. The boys had a lot of fun and Mom got to rest at home in peace.
Really, It was bigger in person... maybe. Jason caught his first fish on his first try (after his daddy threw the line in the dirt a few times before getting the hand of casting again). He was so happy, but wanted to throw it back so it could be with his (the fish) mommy.
Fake worms are all I will touch!

Daniel's Birthday
Dad helped throw our big Daniel a small party a few days after he turned 2. It was a dinosaur party. The kids got to dig for dinos in the sand, wack a pinata, and of course there was some tasty cake (but not as tasty as usual since it was store bought). By the end of the day both Dad and Danny were partied out.
Thanks for the new PJ's and cape Grandma Jeanie.
Daniel had a great birthday. He got a very cool Buzz Lightyear toy, Mr. Potato head, and a neat dinosaur that walks and roars. At first he was scared and ran from the dino but has since decided that it is quite cool and uses it to knock down lego towers and chase the cat.

Jason's First Day of School
Jason was very excited to start his first day of school in Pre-K. When we woke him up that morning much earlier than he was use to he sat up in bed and asked if it was time for school yet. He had no problems saying goodbye. He has adjusted to his new schedule with no problems and seem to be enjoying school quit a bit.

Catching Up
So it has been an insanely long time since we have last posted. Here is an overview of our busy, crazy and mostly fun life for the last few months.
This spring the boys and Mom went with some friends to their ranch to enjoy the beautiful wild flowers. There were more flowers this year than I have ever seen since moving to Texas.
We were able to visit Grandma Jeanie in Colorado this summer. We had a blast hiking in the mountains and visiting.

March 2010
The boys have snack time and Danny shows off his talent for making a mess.
We went to Padre Island and played at the National Beach there.
It was mostly sunny and fun, but still not summer weather yet.
Jason climbed sand dunes and helped look for coastal creatures. He then slid down the sand.
The boys also helped Daddy make a big towering sand castle, but Jason thought it was more like a Volcano.
We dug a trench and made it really big to fill with sea water, this was warmer to sit in than the actual sea.
Seeing how it looked like a volcano, we decided to erupt it before we left for the day. Jason had this idea and it melted down really well.
Danny climbed the leftover pile of mud and sunk down to his knees with Daddy's help.
Having flashbacks to other beaches and pictures, James decided to show off his handstand on the left over ruins of the castle.
Jason also got a chance to start a beach handstand tradition with a little help.
After cleaning up we went to find dinner and almost became it (ha ha ha).
Danny at dinner looking like himself-cute.
